The beautiful immaculate 2004 Porsche (996) 911 Manual Turbo in this video is for sale. Porsche’s internal designation for the 911 model produced from 1997 through 2006 is 996. In 2004, it was superseded by the Porsche 997, however the high-performance Turbo S, GT2 and GT3 models were produced until 2006.
The 996 had little in common with its predecessor, with the first all new chassis platform since the original 911 and a new water-cooled engine. Technically, it was a significant improvement over the previous automobile, with the exception of the general layout.
The 996 had the most refreshing change from the original 911 series at the time of its introduction: a water-cooled engine replacing the formerly air-cooled engine.
The changeover was necessitated by increasingly rigorous emissions and noise rules, environmental concerns, a higher expectation for refinement, and the requirement for a high-performance 4 valve per cylinder engine.
A fully new platform with a slimmer body and a more sloped windscreen, as well as a redesigned interior and new “fried egg” shaped headlights (so named owing to the amber-colored turn signals) in place of earlier “bug eye” headlamps, are among the other key modifications.
Watch as this car cruises the night streets of Bahrain, Home of Motorsport, and the most awarded F1 circuit in the world, and listen to cool music.
